Planning a trip to La Conner around one of the annual festivals is a great way to plan what to do while you're in town. There are a bunch of events running throughout the year, but we've picked out a few of our favorite festivals we think you'll enjoy the most!

Skagit Valley Tulip Festival

Dates: April

Few things are as peaceful and beautiful as a field of tulips, and in Skagit Valley you'll be able to see a literal ton of the colorful petals blowing in the Washington breeze. In between your flower tour, you'll be able to stop at many popular attractions in the city limits.

You can also participate in a host of scheduled events throughout the month. Including an English Teatime, art shows with Tulips as a focus, and food tours (of course!)

Tour Guides
If you'd rather not be in the driver's seat during the tulip festival, you can always pay for a guided tour using Skagit Guided Adventures or Nature Nuts Adventure Travels. These have other benefits too!

Nature Nuts offers a wine tasting and VIP access to Tulip Town. Skagit Guides runs down history and brings you up from Mount Vernon! Depending on what you want, you may find an awesome way to experience the Tulip Festival.

La Conner Guitar Festival

Dates: Mid-May

Looking at flowers can give your eyes a treat, but how about you give your ears one? Fans of classic or electric guitar can rock out at this harmonious rock festival. Spanning a few days, you'll be able to hear from local talent and rock bands from across the country.

Ticket Prices: Required for all guests 13 and up!
Single Day Pass (online/in-person): $15 / $20
Three-Day Pass (online/in-person): $40 / $50

General admission covers Luther Exhibition, Mini Concerts, Access to Special Events, Vendors Room early access

FIND A CONCERT

La Conner Daffodil Festival

Dates: March

Before even the famous Skagit Valley Tulip Festival, you can get a good look at some local flora at the Daffodil Festival this spring! Explore some of the yellow fields of the blooming flowers.

There's a fun photo contest that runs throughout the month. Different age groups can try to take the most awe-inspiring photos of the lovely daffodils. The winners can get some awesome cash prizes.

Festival of Family Farms

Dates: October

Cost
This festival is FREE for all ages and has no parking fee.

Support the Skagit Valley farms at this fun festival for the whole family. Done around harvest time, The Festival of Family Farms has fun games, markets, and awesome deals on freshly-grown products.

Activities
Ride on scenic tours through the farmland, meet farm animals, and learn about what it takes to be a farmer. This festival is an excellent way to expand your horizons and is an awesome vacation experience.
